Your donations can help fund the annual Marshall County Sheriff's Youth Camp for children interested in learning about what First Responders do on a daily basis. This camp is also for children who want to learn how to interact with Police and shows how and why they do what they do. This camp is free to applicants and is a 3 day 2 night camp. Volunteers from the Sheriff's Department and The Reserve Unit stay all weekend to assist in activities, meal prep, cleaning, transportation of applicants, and general guidance. We also have an RN on staff all weekend in case of emergencies. Your donations to the youth camp would go towards food, medical supplies, cleaning supplies, camp shirts for staff and participants, safety equipment used for activities, etc...
If you wish to donate to our General Fund, those donations go to purchase equipment for YOUR Reserve Unit. This includes ballistics, uniforms, radios, and safety equipment to name a few. The Reserve Unit is a volunteer unit that helps in areas of need for the Sheriff's Department and is a NON PROFIT organization here to help and support the full time officers and The Sheriff in any capacity that requires additional resources. Your donations to the General Fund are greatly appreciated and will be put to good use in your community for the safety of our volunteer officers and the general public.
